Do you need a doula?
Doulas provide emotional and physical support to expectant mothers. A doula can support mom and family with the transitions and joys of becoming a parent during pregnancy, labor, and/or postpartum.
There are many reasons families seek doula services. Some of these include being a first-time parent, families who have little local support, women who want to breastfeed, parents who feel anxious, women experiencing postpartum depression or anxiety, babies with special needs, parents of multiple children, or, simply needing extra help.
